Happy National Pierogi Day! Today is our day to be loud and proud (okay, that's any day when you're Polish!).
This day is especially meaningful to us because it's not just about celebrating our favorite things in the universe - it's also about our one-year anniversary of bringing you Poppy Ski's Pierogi!
A Year to remember
One year ago, we started making pierogi out of the Polish American Citizens Club in Coatesville, PA. In just twelve months, we've accomplished and learned so much! From farmers markets to festivals, pop-up events and more, every moment has been incredible.
What we love most? Having the opportunity to share our pierogi with you and seeing that look on your faces when you take that first bite. Priceless! The support we've received, the people we've met, and the stories and memories you've shared with us have made this journey truly special.
Taking the leap
In April 2025, I took the leap to become a full-time pierogi maker, and I've never looked back. Since April, I truly feel like I haven't worked a day since. When you're doing what you love - sharing Polish tradition and bringing joy to people through food - it doesn't feel like work at all. It's been the best decision I've ever made.
Looking ahead: exciting things in store
We're so proud of our first year, but we're not slowing down - not even close! Here's what's coming:
New Production Home: We're thrilled to announce that we're moving our operations to Artisan Exchange in West Chester this month! This exciting move will allow us to increase production and get more pierogi to you, along with potential new distribution options.
Expanded Reach: We're working hard on partnerships that will give you more ways to find Poppy Ski's - whether dining out or shipping at the store. Stay tuned!
Holiday Season: We're anticipating a busy Christmas season, so make sure you plan ahead and get your Christmas pierogi orders in early!
Events and Markets: We'll continue our presence at farmers markets and add some exciting new events to our lineup. Mark your calendars for Good Food Fest on November 2nd, where we'll be serving up pierogi and kielbasa in the vendor area!
