The countdown is on - we're just one week away from the 11th Annual Edwardsville Pierogi Festival! Mark your calendars for Friday, June 13th (12pm-10pm) and Saturday, June 14th (10am-10pm) at John Hopkins Memorial Park in Edwardsville, PA.
First-Time Festival Vendors with big dreams
This will be our very first time participating in the Edwardsville Pierogi Festival, and we're not just dipping our toes in the water - we're diving in headfirst! Not only will we be serving up Poppy Ski's Pierogi to hungry festival-goers, but we're also throwing our hats into the ring for The Great Pierogi Cookoff. Our goal? Nothing short of taking home the championship!
The numbers game: 6,000 pierogi and counting

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of preparation. Our team (my dad, my husband and I) have been working around the clock to hand-make 6,000 pierogi specifically for this event. That's right - six thousand little pockets of deliciousness, each one crafted with care and the secret recipes that make Poppy Ski's Pierogi special.
Breaking new ground: serving hot for the first time
Here's what makes this festival extra exciting for us - this will be the first time we're serving our pierogi hot at a festival! We'll be serving up our traditional potato and cheese pierogi - the classic comfort food that has made Poppy Ski's local favorite. We've spent countless hours planning our setup, testing our equipment, and perfecting our serving process. From keeping the pierogi at the perfect temperature to ensuring quick service for festival crowds, every detail has been mapped out.

practice makes perfect
We believe in being prepared, so we've been running practice sessions to make sure our operation runs like a well-oiled machine. We've tested our timing, refined our processes, and worked out any kinks before the big day. When you visit our booth, you can expect smooth service and consistently delicious pierogi.
Our dream team assembled
Success starts with great people, and we've assembled our 5-person dream team for the festival. Each member brings their own skills and enthusiasm to ensure we deliver an amazing experience for every customer who stops by our booth.
Community support that warms our hearts
We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible support we've received from family and friends. They've generously lent us equipment, shared their festival experience and wisdom, and cheered us on every step of the way. This kind of community support is what makes ventures like this possible and meaningful.
the takeover - equipment everywhere!
Fair warning to anyone who visits our house right now - you might think a pierogi army has invaded! Our garage and spare bedrooms have been completely taken over by Poppy Ski's Pierogi equipment, serving boats, disposables, prep materials, and everything else we need to make this festival a success. It's organized chaos at its finest!
Join us at the festival!
We're absolutely thrilled to be a part of this amazing community event. The festival promises to be "the biggest and best Food festival in North East Pa. to start your summer" with over 80 vendors, food trucks, crafts, rides, games, live entertainment, pony rides, a petting zoo, and of course, the Pierogi Parade and Pierogi Cookoff!
If you're anywhere near the area, we'd love to see you at our booth! Look for the Poppy Ski's Pierogi banner and come hungry and ready to experience what makes our traditional potato and cheese pierogi so special. Whether you're a pierogi veteran or trying them for the first time, we promise you'll leave with a smile and a satisfied appetite.
